The most useful thing you can send us is a real quote.
We read everything. We cannot promise a reply to every message, we cannot review your quote individually, and we cannot tell you which company to hire or advise you on a dispute with a carrier.
If you are reporting a quote
- Origin and destination states, and the metro areas if you are comfortable saying.
- Size of the move, in bedrooms.
- The total price, and whether it covered packing, storage or specialty items.
- Whether the estimate was binding, non-binding or binding not-to-exceed.
- Full service, container or rental truck.
- The month the quote was given, and the month of the move.
Reports are used in aggregate to build the ranges published here. We do not publish anyone’s name or address, and we do not pass details to carriers, brokers or lead networks.
Corrections
If a figure here is wrong, say so and point to what it should be. Corrections are handled under our editorial policy.
